Chris Matthews
Dr Chris Matthews is a tradtional owner Minjerribah (Stradbroke Island) in the Quandamooka Nation (Moreton Bay, Queensland). In 2003, Chris completed a PhD in Applied Mathematics at Griffith University. Chris is a lecturer in the Griffith School of Environement and Coordinator of the Indigenous Research Network at Griffith University. As the Make it count Project Patron Chris is both an inspiration for educators working in mathematics and numeracy with Indigenous students and an important role model for students to aspire to.
