Community links

New content is introduced with the local equilvalent or local application.  There is a brainstorming of ideas fro how this knowledge might help the community.

Students design at least one assessment taks per term that returns school learning to the community eg through performances, displays, community awareness or community service projects.

Quality teaching is supported through significance via connectedness and background and / or cultural knowledge. Community based projects also promote knowledge integration.
